The Tanzania Library and Information Association (TLA) invites librarians, information professionals, researchers, educators, policymakers, students, and stakeholders in the library and information sector to the TLA Conference, Workshop and 53rd Annual General Meeting (AGM), from 1 to 5 February 2027 in Arusha, Tanzania.
Conference theme: Reimagining Libraries for Inclusive Knowledge Societies: Innovation, Access, Heritage, and Sustainable Development
Workshop theme: Next-Gen Libraries: Driving Equity, Innovation, and Sustainable Knowledge Societies
The gathering will provide a platform for knowledge sharing, professional networking, innovation, and discussions on the evolving role of libraries in promoting equitable access to information, preserving cultural heritage, and supporting sustainable development.
